One of the aspects of High Performance Living is
being able to master your health. Your health and wellness are directly affected by the thoughts that exist in your conscious mind as well as your subconscious mind.
Think of it this way, have you ever heard the expression “You are what you eat”, or “garbage in garbage out”? The same stands for “You are what you think”. If you think you have no luck, you won’t, if you think you will do well, you will.  Those same thoughts directly affect your body chemistry as well as your health and well-being.

In other words positive thoughts will release body building hormones that contribute to your overall health and well-being; whereas negative thoughts will act like toxins that will cause a release of stress hormones that will tear down your body, lead to distress and ultimately weaken your immune system causing illness and disease.

Did you know your subconscious mind does not know the difference between what is real & what is imagined.  Visualization and meditation allow you to create a new image in your subconscious mind. As you see it and believe it your body will act on it – here is a quick visualization for creating health in your body. It can be used for anything from serious illness to daily health ritual.

Look at your body as a castle, a beautiful creation with many rooms in it. As you enter the castle you walk in to each room, open the door, open all windows to bring in the light and chase out the darkness. Breathe in light, health and vitality in, breathe out darkness, illness and disease.

Practice this visualization while repeating to yourself the following incantation

“I am healthy, I am whole. My body is strong and filled with energy and vitality!

Now it’s your turn to share your beautiful voice.  Remember to be clear since many members in our community can benefit from your comments. Post your thoughts below and I’ll be sure to read them and personally answer any questions you might have. What do you do to keep positive and stay healthy?

I’ll leave you with quotable tip, feel free to share, post or tweet as well as share this blog with others
